T-70 X-Wing - Star Wars The Force Awakens

3: In Cinema 4D, I start shaping the nose and engine area using box primitives and cylinders, shaped to fit the profile drawings I created.

10-I decided to go with an all grey "clay" look as it was easier to see contours. I've already applied some metal material to the "inlets" for lack of a better term, which really aren't inlets, but that's a whole 'nother story.

11: These split apart, so I needed to create the divider there. At the time, before the movie came out, there were not a whole lot of good visual references to go on.

24: Backside. Now, there were a lot of changes to the near-finished model on this area. The way the half-moon shapes of the engines are here is wrong, the ends turned out to be rounded rectangles. In all honesty, I like the shapes to stay consistent.
